Hen FAQs

I’m planning a Hen/Stag Party and thought this would make a great activity during the day. How many of us can you accommodate at once?

At Escape Limerick, we currently have three games: King John’s Dungeon, McCourt’s Classroom & Troubled Waters. Each game can accommodate up to 6 players so in order to accommodate a group of up to 18 hens/stags, you would need to book 3 rooms. Players would divide into 3 teams, tackle one room each, and race for the fastest escape time. Due to our current Covid-19 operating regulations, the teams may be required to arrive separately to keep lobby occupancy to a minimum and accommodate our Covid-19 regulations. For more information on this procedure, please call us directly at 061-951188 or email us at office@escapelimerick.ie

How much does it cost?

Please see our bookings page.

What is your availability?

To check if we’ve availability on the date you’re interested in, you will need to contact us. Either send us an email or give us a call.

I can’t use my card to pay for everyone at once. Can everyone just pay separately for their game?

Payment is required at the time of booking to guarantee your appointment. The way it has worked successfully in the past is that one person gathers payment from the rest of the party and that person pays for the group. From an administrative standpoint, we cannot accept individual payments for one game – it must be paid as a whole.

I’m unsure of how many are coming. Can I provisionally book, or can you hold a spot for me, until I am sure?

We don’t hold spots or take provisional bookings. If you are unsure of how many people are coming, just book for less people than you are expecting to come. If more people show up, you can always pay the difference on the day.

What other activities do you offer?

At Escape Limerick, our 3 games are the only activities we offer. Each game lasts approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes inclusive of briefing time. The games are great fun for hen/stag groups and everyone can get involved. However, if you had another activity in mind, check out our page on What To Do in Limerick Ireland

Is there anywhere nearby that you would recommend for a bite to eat before or after the game?

Absolutely, there are a number of great places to eat nearby. The Curragower Bar, The Locke Bar, Tuscany Bistro, Azur Restaurant, Stix, Kyoto Sushi & Noodle, Aroi, Cobblestone Joes, and Z-we-ton are all within walking distance.
